We have for sale upcycled Aircraft Life Jackets
We have two bags to choose from, a passport purse, big enough for your passports and important paperwork for getting off on a new adventure. Passport purses come with a lifejacket whistle on its zip, they are fully lined and made from lifejackets once fully operational onboard aircraft jetting about the world.
Our Dolly bags are a larger cosmetic bag with some handy features including a strap, made with Trolly Dolly’s in mind, this can be attached inside the aircraft galley to keep it close and off the floor. Useful for ice tongues, champagne labels, clearing in gloves etc.
Also great for using as a cosmetic bag outside of the aircraft, large enough for your daily make up kit or to use as an overnight kit with shampoo, soaps etc.
You can add an embroidered name on the bag to customise and personalise the bag. Names up to 10 letters can be added to the bag, make sure you triple check the spelling of the name before purchasing as there are no refunds on customised bags due to spelling mistakes.
All bags come with either a “jerk to inflate” pull tab, whistle or Life Jacket tab on the zip to open and close the bag. These are selected at random to utilise the stock we have. We do not take requests on these as we are trying to keep as much of the Life Jacket out of landfill, if we start to take preferences we are likely to have large amounts of waste which completely defeats the point of this exercise.
The outer fabric and zip pull are 100% made from once operation life jackets. These life jackets are no longer able to be used on board an aircraft. The inside fabric, the lining in-between all the fabrics and the zip are brand new.
It is important to note that these bags will not come looking brand new, the Life Jackets were on board an aircraft for many years, flying all over the world. They have marker pen removing any sensitive data, and potentially have aircraft oils and lubricant stains.
These items are handmade to order and currently have around a 2-3 week waiting time.
